Tourism in the district

The Hotel des Alliés lies on the Left Bank of the Seine , near the Latin Quarter . Tourists enjoy strolling around this very lively district, with its many cafes, restaurants, cinemas and bookshops. Even today, it is still possible to discover remains from the Roman period by visiting Cluny Museum , where the former Roman spa can be found, or, closer to the hotel, the famous Lutèce amphitheatre.
Not far from the hotel, R ue Mouffetard is one of the oldest streets in Paris and offers the opportunity for an unforgettable walk through the heart of medieval Paris . For many years, this street has been famed for its market and its shops. There is also the Jardin des Plantes, with its outstanding natural heritage, the Museum of Natural History and some magnificent monuments, such as the prestigious University of the Sorbonne and the Pantheon which, from the top of the Mount Sainte-Geneviève, dominates all of Paris .
Also, slightly further away, Luxembourg Gardens await you. Do not miss this magnificent French-style garden: the Medici fountain, the perspective, the statues and the fruit garden.
The hotel is ten minutes walk from Notre Dame, the river boats along the Seine and the world famous Boulevard Saint Germain.
